The slips, trips and falls awareness training course explains the measures that employers and employees may need to implement to help prevent slips, trips and falls. It explores simple ways to control the risks of slips, trips and falls to help prevent accidents in the workplace

The course is designed to introduce the consequences of accidents caused by slips, trips and falls, the common causes of slips, trips and falls and how they can be reduced in the workplace.

Outline and content

Our slips, trip and fall awareness training is a half-day course, delivered via virtual classroom or face-to-face classroom by one of our qualified trainers.

During the slips, trip and fall awareness course, you will cover the following modules:

  • An introduction to slips, trips and falls.
  • Why we should take them seriously.
  • Introduction and requirements of regulations.
  • Common causes and hazards of slips, trips and falls in the workplace.
  • Who is affected?
  • Prevention measures for slips, trips and falls in your workplace and the risk assessment process.
  • Recent case studies

Learning outcomes

No prerequisites required.

Course length

The duration of our slips, trip and fall awareness training course is half a day.

There is a recommendation of a maximum of 14 people per course.

Assessment

No formal assessment is required.

Certification

Learners will receive a certificate of attendance.
