Helen Green
Helen is a training specialist and Health and Safety professional, with Chartered IOSH membership. She has over seventeen years’ experience in the development, delivery and management of high quality training programmes, in the fields of Health and Safety (H&S) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
She has worked in the radiopharmaceuticals industry in a GMP environment for GE Healthcare - a large multinational healthcare company - implementing H&S programmes and carrying out H&S and GMP audits.
Helen delivers a range of IOSH and NEBOSH accredited courses, and is our NEBOSH Head of Course Provider and Lead Tutor. She also develops and delivers bespoke non-accredited courses across a wide range of H&S subjects.
Helen is passionate about sharing knowledge with individuals, teams and organizations through facilitation, training and mentoring, using an engaging communication style.
For Helen, adding value for clients is vital - building good relationships early on, determining training needs, and tailoring solutions that deliver the best business outcomes for the client.
Kate Gardner
Kate Gardner (DipSM MIIRSM MBIFM) is one of our H&S consultants, with more than 15 years’ practical experience in both health and safety and facilities management in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sector where she worked for DuPont and Elan Pharmaceuticals.
A member of IOSH and IIRSM, Kate is a DSE assessor and a course tutor for both NEBOSH and IOSH and works very closely with clients on identifying and delivering a range of bespoke training programmes.
Suzanne McMinn
Suzanne is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD and a Specialist Paralegal Practitioner in Employment Law with over 20 years’ experience in training and HR, working across both the private and public sector advising at strategic and operational level covering a broad range of HR issues.
Suzanne has devised and delivers training on a variety of HR issues to senior and junior managers in a variety of business environments. She is able to translate the complex subject of employment law into language that managers can relate to and can provide interesting real life examples. She is also a Course Tutor for our accredited CIPD certificate level courses.
Tar Tumber
Tarvinder Tumber is an HR Consultant. She is a Chartered Member of the CIPD and a Member of the British Psychological Society with over 18 years’ experience working in HR.
Tar has been advising clients in both the private and public sector for a number of years, including healthcare companies, schools, publishing houses, banks and manufacturing organisations. This has been at both strategic and operational level, covering a broad range of HR issues spanning the entire employment relationship.
Tar has worked both in internal HR as an HR Business Partner and also has several years’ experience as an outsourced consultant where she has adapted her communication to suit the needs of the individual audience. She has delivered training to customers and is also trained in the delivery of SHL psychometric tests.
Adam Walmsley
Adam Walmsley is a health and safety consultant and trainer with IW and started with the company in February 2016, he has been in this sector since 2010. He is a qualified trainer and delivers IOSH Managing Safely and other bespoke courses.
Prior to starting with International Workplace he worked with various residential block management companies as a consultant, conducting fire and general risk assessments for residential blocks of flats and multitenant buildings; for some premises this included children’s play areas. Being a consultant also involved making sensible recommendations for the property managers to aid planning and management for their clients. He has surveyed over 500 separate buildings including the new and the old, purpose built and converted buildings, along with some other commercial and schools premises.
Jen Rogers
Jen joined International Workplace in June 2018 and delivers bespoke and accredited health and safety courses. She is a Technical member of IOSH, who also develops content for a range of courses. She is currently working towards Graduate IOSH membership, studying a Diploma in Applied Health and Safety.
Before joining us, she worked in the Further Education sector, gaining 14 years practical experience in mechanical maintenance, specialising in engineering, fabrication and welding. She developed reliable, high quality and useable health and safety systems for technicians across the range of engineering and construction technology subject areas, ensuring consistency and ease of use, constantly supporting, sharing best practice to maintain high standards.
A qualified teacher since 2007, Jen has lectured and supported a range of subjects, both vocational and academic, from introductory engineering skills, through GCSE English Language, to advanced modern apprenticeship level.
Terry Hayward
Terry is a Chartered Member of the CIPD, holds a Masters degree in Human Resource Management from Sheffield Hallam University and has 15 years’ experience working in HR.
After leaving university Terry worked with a large domestic white goods manufacturer for 3 years, dealing with the recruitment and employee life cycle of the Field Service Engineers and call centre staff. Following that, he moved to a large HR outsourcing organisation and worked in a variety of roles, primarily as an HR Consultant for companies from a number of sectors including education, financial services, housing development, media, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, utilities, and public sector organisations. In that time he was involved in a wide range of projects including various change programmes involving restructures and TUPE, employee relations disputes, training programmes, employee engagement and talent management.
Terry spent 10 years in HR outsourcing before moving to manage the Employee Relations team in a national learning disability charity where he implemented a new case management system and developed a team of highly skilled case advisors and managers. Terry has brought his wealth of experience to International Workplace and now works as an HR Consultant, supporting our clients with their ER queries and HR projects as well as delivering and designing training courses to support client needs and as a tutor on the accredited CIPD and ILM courses.
Bozena Horvathova
Client Services Manager managing the Client Success team that acts as a liaison between external customers and internal departments within International Workplace.
Interacting directly with learners, supervisors, managers and directors of a wide range of client organisations, including prestigious businesses and public sector organisations, both in the UK and internationally. Managing the client relationship, with responsibility for solving problems, and ultimately aiming to provide excellent service to deliver long-term profitable solutions based on mutual trust.
