International Workplace shortlisted for Learning Technologies Award
International Workplace has been announced as a finalist at the Learning Technologies Awards 2017 for the latest version of its bestselling online health and safety course.
The IOSH Managing Safely v.5.0 eLearning course has been shortlisted in the category of ‘Best online distance learning programme’, a major endorsement of the significant investment made in the new digital version of the course.
We have won and been shortlisted for a number of awards which are a great testament to our services and products, and the people who deliver them.
In 2014 we won 'CDM Coordinator of the Year' at the Association for Project Safety Awards, for our work on a refit of a Jamie's Italian restaurant in central London.
We were shortlisted for 'Elearning Development Company of the Year' at the Elearning Age Awards 2013. We didn't win the trophy but were proud to be listed alongside some great other companies in this most prestigious category.
In 2011, we won a Silver Award in the Elearning Age Awards in the ‘Best online distance learning programme’ category for our IEMA Foundation Certificate in Environmental Management course. We were also shortlisted in the category ‘Best use of elearning to ensure compliance with external regulations or internal policies’, for our work in conjunction with City College, Norwich, utilising our IOSH Managing Safely elearning course.
In 2008 we won the Professional Publishers Association (PPA) award for ‘Business Website of the Year (paid-for)’, whilst also being shortlisted for the ‘Best Online Presence’ award. In both 2005 and 2006 we were highly commended in the ‘Interactive and Professional Magazine of the Year’ category. In 2005 we were highly commended by the Association of Online Publishers in the ‘Online Publisher – Business’ category of their awards.
Judging awards
International Workplace's Managing Director, David Sharp, is part of the judging panel for the BIFM Awards, and is the Lead Judge for the Learning and Career Development Award, which recognises FM organisations or internal FM teams who can provide demonstrable commitment to improving the knowledge and skills of their people within the FM profession. The BIFM Awards are now firmly established as the premier industry awards programme in the facilities management sector and are renowned for the quality and integrity of the judges and the judging process.
